Tonight at 8 PM the Food Network, channel 231 on Direct TV, (not sure what Comcast Channel in your area) will do a show in which a local bakery, Cupcakes In Bloom, (Berlin, MD.) will compete for a $10,000.00 Prize.If you can't watch tonight it will also air on the 6th, 10th and 13th. You won't want to miss it.

ReplyDeleteThat was truly an exciting show to watch. I personally thought you beat the competition in presentation but of course I wasn't there to tase the end product.
You should be VERY proud of your accomplishment and the very next time I'm in Berlin I'll make it a point to drop in and buy some of your products.

ReplyDeletewe have used them for 3 different special occasions and have gone in for treats whenever we are in berlin. they are fantastic and Shawnee the owner is so sweet and outgoing. She has what it takes to have a very successful business for years to come!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to visit Berlin and try a cupcake!! Now that I have said something nice, I must say something negative about the cupcake establishment in downtown Salisbury across from the Circuit Court building. When it first opened, the cupcakes were very good. Now? not so much. They are very dry and definitely not worth the money. Also, I ordered a pie and a dozen sweet potato biscuits for Thanksgiving from the same Salisbury baker. The pie was ok. JUST ok. The biscuits were flat like cookies and tasted HORRIBLE!! I don't know why I didn't tell them to keep their flat biscuits and not pay $8.50 for them!! I am usually more outspoken than that. I have talked to many others who bought the flat tasteless wonders and we will never buy anything from there again! Live and learn!! We were trying to help our local business owner!
