Political Aide To Former Md. Gov. Found Guilty

BALTIMORE (AP) - A Baltimore jury has convicted a political aide to former Maryland Gov. Robert Ehrlich of conspiring to suppress black voter turnout during the 2010 gubernatorial election.

Paul Schurick was found guilty Tuesday of four counts, including conspiracy to violate state election laws and attempting to influence a voter's decision whether to go to the polls through the use of fraud.

  1. I could have told you that this wouls be the verdict before the trial even started.....just because he worked for a Republican! However, when concrete evidence of voter fraud was presented in the trial after the Sauerbray/Glendening campaign, it was discounted and the Dems/ prevailed!

    This state makes me sick to my stomach as far as politics are concerned.

    I know Paul Schurick personally. He's a wonderful person and I'm saddened by this news.
