Obama Wants ANOTHER $1.2 Trillion Dollars
It's déjà vu all over again. President Obama plans to ask Congress for authority to borrow another $1.2 trillion, the New York Times reports. That would raise the national debt to $16.4 trillion. No more increases would be needed until after the 2012 elections. The last raise in the debt ceiling resulted in a bitter fight on Capitol Hill. That might not happen this time. The borrowing would be in accordance with spending levels Republicans and Democrats agreed to under the Budget Control Act. The government has been borrowing 36 cents for every dollar it spends. Fiscal 2011 added $1.3 trillion to the debt.
Not only are they going to get more to spend - they haven't figured out what they were supposed to reduce spending on last month.
ReplyDeleteTime for some real change....White House, Senate, and house of Reps.....
This is what your Republican leaders agreed to. Why whine now? YOUR party signed onto this!
ReplyDeleteand there are idiots who still want this nut case for another term. wow!!!
ReplyDeleteif every patriotic american doesn't get out and vote for the republican opponent; shame on you forever...
by the way; i'm NOT saying the new president will have ALL the right answers, but he will surley be much better that bo.
You shouldn't spend what you don't have. Our country is broke. No Money get it.. No money means no spending. You can't spend what you don't have unless you are in Obama's government.
ReplyDeleteFruitland Generic Citizen: What have your Democratic leaders done to this country and agreed to do? Take over health care. Put massive regulations on business that kill jobs. Hinder any and all oil drilling in this country that would create jobs and make us less dependent on foreign oil. Obama and the Democrats have spent more money in 3 years than any administration in history combined. We had to agree to borrowing the money or the country would default and the the great depression of the 30's would be the tiny depression compared to the one we would be in now.
ReplyDeleteWonder where The Royal diiot and his queen are going on vacation that would take that much money?
ReplyDeleteThis administration has become a joke, but I'm not laughing. No wonder the Mayan calender stops right after the next election.
