Norfolk Southern Railroad Will Close Clark Street Crossing In Harrington For Repairs

Harrington -- As a public courtesy, the Department of Transportation (DelDOT) wants to inform area residents that Norfolk Southern Railroad will close the railroad crossing on Clark Street between Delaware Avenue and Railroad Avenue in Harrington for the replacement of the crossing. The crossing will be closed at 7 a.m. on Monday, December 19. The crossing will reopen by 5 p.m. on Friday, December 23, pending weather.

Detour route:

Route 13 south to Delaware Avenue, west on Center Street to south on West Street, west on Route 14/Vernon Road

DelDOT will post signs to alert motorists of the closure and the accompanying detour routes.
