So you work in a potentially hazardous environment for your phone, and you just upgraded to the iPhone 4 or 4S recently? There are plenty of professions that can seem like another day at the office for you, but might be a cracked or broken phone waiting to happen. Construction, emergency services, corrections and law enforcement, HVAC, plumbing, manufacturing, the list goes on. From personal experience, it is very well worth it to invest in a good case for your phone to protect it from bumps, bruises, splashes, and falls. This list highlights the top 20 most rugged cases for the iPhone 4 and 4S. They can be a bit pricey, but will pay for themselves the within the first couple drops from a desk or slippery hand.
A personal end note, I have the iPhone 3GS which I paid $20 for (contract with AT&T). The next day, I went out and spent $45 on the OtterBox Defender Series. It has been dropped dozens of times, been thoroughly showered with CO2/water, rained on, fallen down stairs, etc. When I take the phone out of the case to clean it, it still looks like new. I would definitely recommend this case, and it is being made for each progressive generation of iPhones.

The otter box is the absolute best. But it in line though through amazon or otterbox.com. That is the least expensive way to do it. Around here it's from $39.95 to $50. On line $29.95
