Dogfish Should Move To Delmar
Id the Milton Town Council doesn't want to allow the Dogfish Head Brewery the opportunity to expand their business, they should cut their losses before it's too late and relocate to Delmar.
I have followed this proposal and one thing I can't understand is why in the heck they're in a residential community to start with. Nevertheless, if the Council has to sit through 4 hours of residents bitching and complaining, get the heck out of there and reinvest in a commercial community where you can continue the growth and residents welcome your business.
In this economy, municipalities and taxpayers take successful businesses for granted, like Perdue. Believe me, there's going to come a day when Perdue is going to feel the hit from the screwed up water and sewer plant failure and finally say, THAT'S IT!
If the residents don't want your business, pack it up, cut your losses and let a Town like Delmar work with you to expand.
Delmar already has EVO they should go to Ocean city.
ReplyDeleteEVO is moving back to Salisbury because Delmar turned down their alcohol lisence. They couldn't open a brew pub and restaurant, that's what has brought them back to the 'Bury.
ReplyDeleteThat's not true at all. Delmar did nothing wrong. EVOLUTION wanted to expand and their building simply wasn't as good of a locale as the ice plant in da bury.
ReplyDeleteMilton has all "move here's" from all over and they dont want any progress at all so the people who want jobs must move elsewhere.Dewey is the same way!
ReplyDeleteWith our new leadership team I think it is obvious that Delmar is open for business.
ReplyDeleteDogfish went into the old processing plant. The homes around
ReplyDeletethis old mess were worthless.
Dogfish brought this neighbor up and everyone wanted to build near the complex. Now they want to add on and the commuunity is fighting them. Maybe those transplants ought to take a history lesson of what it was like in Milton before
Dogfish.
Go Dogfish - Yes we would love to have you on the western side of
the Easternshore
1:31, it remains to be seen if anything changes in Delmar "with your new leadership". I'd bet it'll be business as usual. If there IS change, I'll bet it will be more development on the MD side of town that doesn't have all the t's crossed and the i's dotted, just like before.
ReplyDeleteDon't tread too fast. Take your time and look into the future before making your decisions, please!
