WASHINGTON -- If you're waiting to buy that new car until after the holidays, think twice. You may be able to get a great deal on some new-to-you wheels right now.
CarGurus.com, an automotive website, tracked car prices on roughly 12 million used cars since 2010 and found that prices have been declining since the summer.
Based on its research, the site predicts prices will bottom out by Jan. 8. Prices will be about 4.5 percent lower than their August peak The site says prices will decline most dramatically -- 2 percent -- between Thanksgiving and the first week of January.

Not hardly. Used car prices are at record high levels right now.
ReplyDeleteI agree with 12:21. Because of the "cash for clunkers" there aren't many used cards out there to select from. You can forget it if you are trying to find a first time car for your teen.
