Animal Cruelty Nets 18 Months

SNOW HILL -- Two days after getting sentenced to a combined 20 years for convictions on five counts of possession of child pornography, a Berlin man was sentenced last Thursday to an additional 18 months for animal cruelty stemming from an incident last August.

On Aug. 24, Berlin Police received a tip that Greenberg was in possession of animals in compromised health conditions in direct violation of his probation for an animal cruelty conviction in Salisbury in August 2010.

  1. As far as I'm concerned this human piece of garbage should be buried under a jail. As the owner of one of the dogs he tortured for 5 years child pornography was nor his only vice. Try beastiality too. It has taken a year for this dog that had been sexual molested beaten and had her jaw broken to even begin to trust again. I know of others from his place that had the same things happen. It's a shame the msm only reports on what they choose and charges are only filed that are convenient. This man is a danger to everyone and thing he comes in contact with. I hope he never sees the light of day again. Jail is to good for him.
