5-10 times per year. My son also spends 2 weeks at camp there each summer, he's almost old enough to become a docent and is looking forward to that next year :)
Maybe once in every five years I will take the grandchildren there the last time we went the toilets were so nasty I got my cleaning bucket from my car and cleaned the porty pot up before me and my sister would use it Nasty Nasty Nasty!!
Hardly go there anymore. Went year or so ago when they had halloween thing for kids. Paid to walk in and then they nickel and dimed me to death once inside. Not worth it.
And the shape of the zoo was terrible. Don't know if that has changed.
Just had a birthday party there. Very nice! They even show three animals to the kids and let them touch them and tell alittle history about them. Very reasonable as far as price too.
Are you joking? The last time we visited Bens Red Swings the place was infested with dirty disposable diapers in the sandboxes, and other garbage everywhere else. The zoo is okay but starting to get run down looking.
Seriously, how can the city have such an asset and not promote it? A lot of tourists go around the City on the way to OC without ever knowing a zoo even existed. How about advertising in OC to the tourists? Couple it with promotion of Downtown activities.
I better be careful or white jacketed people will come looking for me.
Many times 6 - 10. Great Zoo, kids love it.

The traffic heading to Ocean City does not have zoo on their minds.
ReplyDeleteTheir not even buying local. Their hauling from baltimore and DC. We only clean up the mess they leave on the sides of the road.
Never.
