glee (while i do not watch it) is far from the worst thing on tv. FAR from it.
With Glee being so wildly popular (which i still don't understand) i think they could have made a better choice that to glorify teen sex. I do hope that they at least made the decision to promote SAFE sex. The fact is that teens are having sex. always have been, always will be.
gay teens need to correct their ways. Mormons preach that gayness is an illness that can be extracted through prayer. These kids needs jesus to get the fruit out.
It's F-ed up and confusing today's children regarding proper morals, values & principles they should follow in life. Primetime TV SUCKS today, compared to the days when I watched it when there were shows like Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, MASH, etc. These days you have to monitor EVERYTHING your child watches, not only on various cable channels but also the basic stations such as ABC, NBC & CBS when it was unnecessary 20+ years ago.
I watched that episode of Glee and was confused whether they actually had sex because they never showed it. They showed each couple lying next to each other, fully clothed. It looked like they were heading toward "something" more intimate, but they never showed it and I don't recall any of the characters ever verbally confirming it happened. I guess the show left it to everyone's imagination that they had sex, but my imagination didn't go there.
1:12 Enough was shown to put little thoughts in ding a lings heads that don't need to be there. We didn't get to see their moms and dads having sex, but we know their kids are here.
Here's the best way to view it. If it goes against your personal morals or beliefs, you have the power to turn it off!! You have the power to not allow your children to watch it. No one is forcing anyone to watch it. We do not watch Glee in our home. My children do not watch Glee. Everyone wants to blame the networks but the problem starts at home. If the majority of people were setting boundaries and standards that did not allow for this type of show, the networks wouldn't supply it. This is the crap people are demanding. Simple economics, really.
"Happy Days"? The "wholesome" show where a Jewish guy plays one of the worst stereotypical Italian characters in Tv history, who is sucking the face of a different loose girl every week and told people to "sit on it" and then jumped a shark!? Seriously,I can understand them TALKING about sex but actually airing a sex scene between two students on prime time TV is just wrong. It is my job to discuss sex with my kids not the networks!
as a teenager watching it its really not that big of a deal. weather its on tv or in school we hear about sex. adults act like they never had sex as a teen. im 17 and have not had sex as a personal choice, but some of my friends have. stop making such a big deal out of things that happen in reall life and that half of you did when you yourself were a teen.
apparently, saying your gay is the new fad going on. The skinny jean wearing emos playing butt grab is cool in school. This is what students are saying.
I see it as another attempt by the liberal elite to normalize child sex.

ReplyDelete10:35- I hope you're not serious. If you are, your points have no validity, as your spelling and sentence structure dictate that you are a moron.

ReplyDeleteGay or straight or otherwise(?), we do not need to see anyone having sex on t.v. Age is irrelevant too.
ReplyDeleteanother bleeding heart attempt to normalize deviant behaviors. in fact, i think "the naked communist" has that in one of their goals.
