On November 11, 2011 at approximately 8:55 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department were on routine patrol in the area of Smith Street and Newton Street and observed several subjects walking in the roadway and impeding traffic. The officers approached the suspects for contact and the below listed suspect fled on foot southbound on Smith Street. The officers pursued the suspect through a number of yards and over several fences.
Several of the yards that the suspect ran through had been posted against trespassing. During the pursuit, the officers observed the suspect discard an item beneath of a parked vehicle and soon thereafter caught and took the suspect into custody. The discarded item was recovered and was found to be a loaded .22 caliber revolver type handgun. The suspect’s age prohibits his possession of firearms and due to the seriousness of the charges the suspect was charged as an adult.
ARRESTED: Gerard Dawson Dennis, 17 years of age Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES:
Trespassing (4 counts)
Possession of a handgun
Possession of a regulated firearm
Altering a firearms identification number
Possession of a firearm under 21 years of age
Possession of regulated ammunition
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking

ReplyDeleteIf your on Smith ST, then your guilty, wanted, packing heat, loaded with drugs, just smoked drugs, going to commit a crime, coming back from committing a crime and pregnant.
