Preparing for the Final Takedown? ... There is a shocking piece of legislation working its way through Congress. A Defense Authorization bill for 2012 allows for military detentions of American citizens on American soil. These can be indefinite detentions, with no trial. The American Civil Liberties Union statement (more of an alert) on November 23, 2011 deserves special attention: "The U.S. Senate is considering the unthinkable: changing detention laws to imprison people — including Americans living in the United States itself — indefinitely and without charge." ... "The Defense Authorization bill — a "must-pass" piece of legislation — is headed to the Senate floor with troubling provisions that would give the President — and all future presidents — the authority to indefinitely imprison people, without charge or trial, both abroad and inside the United States." – GlobalResearch.ca, Dr. Andrew Bosworth

This story simply cannot be true.
ReplyDeleteIf it were true, it would mean the previous conspiracy stories about detention camps were real.
Since they can't possibly be true, then this story likewise must be untrue.
If either story is true then the other story is also true.
If both stories are true then our government is evil and corrupt.
Since I have predetermined that the government is not evil or corrupt but actually cares about us and seeks to serve our best interests, I have concluded that the story is totally baseless and a silly conspiracy theory.
The fact that the Bill exists on public record will NOT deter me from concluding that the story is false.

ReplyDeleteWacko, and I don't mean from Texas.
Put the pipe down.
If the bill does exist, then I submit that 11:44 put the pipe down. Some people would deny that the sun shines if the government told them it didn't. The question to be answered is "Does this bill REALLY exist and does it contain the provisions as written"? And I assume he was referring to "Waco", Texas.
