Joe:
The article about the DT and the legal ads has them scrambling now. The insertion equipment will be put back in place and the press will be restarted to get publication back in Salisbury.
Press operators along with former employees are being sought and asked to come back for production as soon as possible. Bassett understands about the legal ramifications and is sweating bullets. Look for local production in about 10 days to 2 weeks. You have Wilmington fuming !!!!
Keep up the good work. SBYNEWS is the best !!!
Publishers Notes: I learned this morning that the Daily Times has been all over the County Council asking questions about yesterday's articles on snow removal AND the Christmas Bonus. Who's DelMarVa's News Leader Folks!
Good job joe.
ReplyDeleteJoe just created quite a few new local jobs. I agree with the comment above.
ReplyDeleteWTG Joe!!!
ReplyDeleteI love hearing that Greg Bassett is sweating bullets!
SBY NEWS IS #1 The only place to get the real news. I hope no one takes there old job back at the daily rag.
ReplyDeleteInteresting since the newspaper dismantled their press and sold it. They haven't bought or installed a new one either. You should learn to check your facts. What will they "print" with?
ReplyDeleteLMAO anonymous 2:10!
ReplyDeleteGet on board with reality. The DT's sold their original press when they moved out of their old building. They spent $3,500,000.00 on a new press for their new location and in fact have been receiving TAX FREE status from the City and County on their new press in an Enterprize Zone.
Nice try, fool.
Joe first informed the public about this "problem," but let's not forget Mr. Trader, who informed the City Council at its meeting. (Sorry, Mr. Trader, I forgot your first name, though I have certainly seen you at meetings and on PAC-14).
ReplyDeleteMr. James Trader. Local historian and scholar of the city charter. Go Mr. Trader. God bless and thank you.
ReplyDeleteHey 2:10, Hmm interesting, maybe YOU should learn to check your facts... Fool! Ha!! Good job Joe.
ReplyDeleteCan Lovely Laura Mushmouth use this to challenge the charter amendment?
ReplyDeleteMr. Trader is a wise ole fart ; ) Gotta love him for he is a man on his toes.
ReplyDeleteHe is actually, technically right. I doubt that Terry, Debbie and Tim would have a problem making that charter change since the Daily Rag is the only rag in town to advertise city business.
Unless witch Mitchell feels she needs to break into another referendum tizzy because it wasn't her idea. Fact is, she's just dumb as a stump!
I watched her on PAC-14, she could barely speak to a few people let alone a crowd. Her voice was cracking and I thought she was going to cry because she wasn't having it her way.
We need a newspaper like the old Salisbury Advertiser again. It always had local news in it and came out once a week.
