High winds prompt Va bridge-tunnel restrictions

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) -- High winds have prompted restrictions at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel.

Tunnel officials say winds of 40 mph have prompted the bridge-tunnel to be closed to certain vehicles and cargo.

Large pickup campers, camper trailers, house trailers, anything being towed and vehicles with exterior cargo are prohibited from crossing the bridge-tunnel until the winds die down.
