Black Friday IS ____!

  1. Dangerous! We were at wal mart last evening when the crouds started to gather. There were determined looks on their faces a fight in their eyes. We got our purchases together and left.
I personally think black friday should be canceled. By the looks of todays news some got shot, robbedd and pepper sprayed. Really not worth it for a $19.00 crocpot for $9.99. or a television which may have been rejects/seconds. people just dont think streight when they think they can get something for 1/2 price.
Stay home and have another piece of pie or turkey leg.

  2. A joke, why in the world can you not get great deals throughout the year? I am happy despite last years tragic New York Walmart employee being trampled to death, that Walmart and others opened their doors earlier or stayed 24 hours opened.

  3. A manipulation of the masses by companies and advertisers. A materialistic blight on the character of country. A disgusting display of greed and over consumption. Black Friday whips people into a frenzy over things they don't really want, and things they will have forgotten all about by next Christmas. It is a black mark on Thanksgiving.

I'm with ya on that one. People just get worked up into a frenzy. They lose all common sense and social interaction.

Prices are slashed and this is war dammit. In some areas people are being seriously hurt by these bargain hunters and robbers waiting outside for them.

When stores and its managers start getting sued for damages maybe the craziness will stop. I wouldn't hold my breath though.
