UPDATE: We are saddened to say that Mr. Hawkins has passed away from his injuries related to the accident. We would like to add that the driver of the other vehicle involved lost his daughter only last week due to another fatal car accident in the Pocomoke Area. Our prayers go out to both families .
We will do our best to keep you updated and our thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Hawkins and his immediate Family.

ReplyDeleteOur prayers go out to the family of Councilman Robert "Bob" Hawkins. He will be sorely missed by all of us on the City Council and in City government, as well as all those on the various boards and commissions on which he served.
Mr. Bob, thank you for your service to our community and our country. The wise council of your many years of service will be missed throughout our community. You have earned your rest in a better place.

Bob Hawkins was not only a kind gentleman, he was also a decorated Navy veteran. Please remember him especially this Friday, Veteran's Day. Fair winds and following seas....
