UPDATE:BREAKING NEWS: Pocomoke Councilman Robert Hawkins In Very Serious Accident




UPDATE: We are saddened to say that Mr. Hawkins has passed away from his injuries related to the accident. We would like to add that the driver of the other vehicle involved lost his daughter only last week due to another fatal car accident in the Pocomoke Area. Our prayers go out to both families .


Councilman Bob Hawkins was just in a very serious accident at Rt. 13 and Winter Quarters Drive in Pocomoke. Folks, we've been told the Councilman is being rushed to PRMC and his condition is "grim".

We will do our best to keep you updated and our thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Hawkins and his immediate Family.

  2. God Bless Mr. Hawkins family and the family of the driver of the other car, what a terrible tragedy this is for all involved.

    The City of Pocomoke has lost a wonderful perons.

    Our prayers go out to the family of Councilman Robert "Bob" Hawkins. He will be sorely missed by all of us on the City Council and in City government, as well as all those on the various boards and commissions on which he served.

    Mr. Bob, thank you for your service to our community and our country. The wise council of your many years of service will be missed throughout our community. You have earned your rest in a better place.

  6. Bob Hawkins was not only a kind gentleman, he was also a decorated Navy veteran. Please remember him especially this Friday, Veteran's Day. Fair winds and following seas....
