I'm not making any sacrifices as I've always been conservative when it comes to spending my money on anything including gas so therefore if we decide to take a joy ride it's okay because we can afford it.
It is not really a sacrifice. But I have been more deliberate in planning errands. I do errands on the way to and from car pool. It is a small thing but I do realize some savings.
We haven't made any real sacrifices but we have always been fairly conservative in the way we live. We plan our shopping to take in as many stores as needed in one trip, and the leisurely Sunday drives are almost a thing of the past. By the way, I carefully plan my grocery/shopping list to include as many sale items as possible and stocking up on the sale items that we use a lot.
Like those who previously commented,I too have always lived within my means. That makes it less of a shock when I have to be even more conservative.Luckily we are'nt high maintenance people.
none. ive always lived within my means.

ReplyDeleteI now use my bicycle to go to work and shopping as much as possible. Two fold, good excercise and save gasoline for longer outings.
