While Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld write books, give speeches and get rich, the people who had to fight their wars, die, get maimed, see their family lives ruined, and live with the horror of war for the rest of their lives don’t see the War on Terror in quite the same way as the neo-con ideologues. It seems 60% of war veterans think we should worry about issues in our own country rather than Muslim countries half way around the world.

You're not my hero...Muslim killer!
ReplyDeleteIf you're looking to blame someone for the war that the Terrorists started you can blame Clinton for slashing our intelligence budget costing us valuable information and for turning down the chance at having Bin Laden handed over to him. But you can thanks Bush for taking the fight to them instead of in our streets and keeping us safe for the remainder of his term.
ReplyDeleteKill all of the Satan spawned Muslims!
ReplyDeleteOn 9/10/2001 we weren't too worried about issues in Muslim countries half way around the world.
ReplyDeleteThe author of that article has his head up his posterior!
Clinton tried twice to kill bin Lauden with cruise missle strikes. His ability to disappear has haunted this nation for 16 years.
ReplyDeleteHe's dead now but his message lives on.
I will never thank Bush for ANYTHING, nor will I think the Bush supporters for anything.
ReplyDeleteHis supporters conveniently forget that even today, 10 years later, we're still paying for Bush's wars!
We're still having soldiers killed and maimed. For what?
We (this country) could have taken out Osama Bin Laden ANY time we wanted to.
We have Navy Seals and others who are trained that could have put a single bullet to the head at any time and nobody would ever know we were there.
