More Americans Moving In With Relatives To Save Money

With unemployment rates high and the economy still struggling, many Americans have moved in with relatives, according to a new Pew Research Center analysis of Census Bureau data. The result: the largest increase in the number of Americans living in multi-generational households in modern history.

  2. That is the way it should be. Save for a nice chunk of a downpayment instead of maxing yourself out. Why do you think jewish and korean communities are so much more financially sound. Because they take care of their own and reinvest in their own.

  3. 2:35 thats not true. While it's true that they stack mexicans deep in any residence, the truth is that the same thing happened to Americans during the Great Depression. I learned it by going throught my family tree. For many it meant moving in with relatives or living in "Hoovervilles" - today we call them tent cities. It will get a lot worse.
