Retailer to close underperforming stores in 15 states, cut 1,950 jobs
MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Home-improvement retailer Lowe's Cos. says it will close 20 underperforming stores in 15 states and cut 1,950 jobs in a move that it says will allow it to focus on more profitable locations.
Ten locations were closed Sunday; the other 10 will close in a month.
Obama is in North Carolina, they should have let Obamie make this announcement since he is a job killer anyway.
ReplyDeleteTook awhile to find them, but a list of the stores that are closing can be found here.
ReplyDeleteNone of them appear to be on Delmarva.
More jobs gone. Can you say get a job or MAKE one now?
ReplyDeleteSomeone better tell obama, because I just heard him say "the econonmy is turning around". For who? Welfare recipients? Government workers? People in India? He keeps spouting that nonsense and, unbelievably, MILLIONS keep buying it....I guess THEY ain't looking for, or maybe don't even HAVE, a job.
ReplyDeleteThanks Daddio for providing that link. I was looking for the list awhile ago and was unable to find it.
ReplyDeleteSBYnews broke this story about a month ago.
