Cain, 65, whose come-from-way-behind campaign has been conducted largely via television, presents himself as destined for victory: His new memoir is called “This is Herman Cain! My Journey to the White House.” Now, in the run-up to tomorrow’s Republican debate in New Hampshire, Cain is being pressed on his so-called 9-9-9 tax plan -- a flat 9 percent rate on corporate and personal income and a national sales tax -- his criticism of the Occupy Wall Street protesters and his lack of experience in public office.
“Get ready for an aberration of historic proportion,” Cain said in an interview yesterday during “State of the Union” on CNN. “People who are criticizing me because I have not held public office, they are out of touch with the voters out there.”
Personally as an independent, I really am interested in Herman Cain; and at this point think he could make a good President. Certainly better than Obama.
ReplyDeleteYeah and if you want pizza, he's your man.
ReplyDelete8:08, do your homework. his bio is very impressive. he's got our vote....
ReplyDeleteMine too! He is a simple kinda man.Hope he stays the course!
ReplyDeleteHe is exactly what this country needs-a self made man instead of a career politician. I am waitng for my "Crackers for Cain" bumper stickers from e-bay. What will they call me now? Oh yea-I forgot. Genine Geropalo said us Tea-Partiers are supporting Cain just to hide our racism. If it came from the mouth of such a mental giant, it must be true, so I guess I will still be called a racist. So be it!
ReplyDeleteHis words are much more impressive, in a negative way. Plenty of people have 'impressive bio's', that don't mean much unless your looking to hire a CEO.
ReplyDelete9:45, NOT. cain's bio is just as impressive or better as ANY candidate running for president currently, many of our past presidents and most of all' our current president bo.
ReplyDeleteyou don't seem to have an ounce of sense. instead of slinging lies; do your own research. maybe you don't know how to do research. whatever.....i forgot; you can't fix stupid.
Learn more about the 999 plan before jumping on the Cain Train. 999 sounds great but that is the whole tax plan...no deductions including property tax, mortgage interest, healthcare, education, IRA or business expenses....may not be a good thing for individuals or small business and small businesses hire people.
