NEW YORK - Five New York City police officers are among 12 people arrested in a gun smuggling sting operation, two law enforcement officials told The Associated Press on Tuesday.
The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because the charges have not officially been made public.
The arrests come amid speculation that the Bronx prosecutor is close to bringing charges in a separate ticket fixing case that could result in about a dozen officers' arrests.
WOW we really need to have a COP GONE BAD registry...seems everyday we read where cops go bad and wonder why we DO NOT TRUST of LIKE them much.....
ReplyDeleteCops today are not the cops of yesterday. Today, they have major attitudes, egos and act above the law. They think the uniform, badge and gun entitles them to be a@@holes. We should be prosecuting them, stop giving them a pass and make a public display of them when they break the law. They know better! Put them in GP and let them become friends with those they treated like dirt on the streets. A police officer profession used to be honorable. Today, they are a bunch of punks with a gun.
ReplyDeleteThe TODAYS Police are the NEW MAFIA and can get away with most of what they do till they are caught up too deep...and then try the badge hat trick..
