Dover —A $13.3 million grant from the Federal Railroad Administration will allow DelDOT to begin construction on a third track for Amtrak's Northwest Corridor.
The new line will be between Wilmington and Newark and ease congestion and delays in the area. The project is expected to begin with the fall and be completed in 2014.
