Canby School Board Votes Against Giving Students Birth Control
CANBY, Ore. - The Canby School Board unanimously voted Thursday night not to give birth control to students through a high school health clinic.
A lot of factors went into board members' decisions. Many of them called it a difficult decision and one they struggled with. But two of them said in the end, if the students are mature enough to have sex, they're mature enough to find their own contraceptives.
