Cain In First With 20 Point Lead

A Zogby poll released Thursday shows Herman Cain leading the Republican field, topping former front-runner Mitt Romney by 20 points. Cain would also narrowly edge out Obama in a general election, the poll found, by a 46 to 44 margin.

The poll found that 38 percent of Republican primary voters said they would vote for Cain if the primary were held today. Eighteen percent said they would would vote for Romney, while 12 percent each said they would vote for Perry and Ron Paul. No other candidate attracted double-digit support.

  1. How many "reliable" polls are there. I think it depends are which one, one would choose to believe.

I think you are correct. This dude should have double negative digits.

  3. I hope you folks realize that all this polling "data" as well as the constant humdrum of the political races is ALL about selling ads and polishing the candidates media credentials. In the end, the stations only care that you are watching and many of the candidates simply run to jumpstart their next career move. Did someone say "Palin"?

  5. If you look long enough and if the stats and poll is done pro Cain enough, he will come out ahead. This man is a brilliant person, but not presidential material. Neither was barrack hussien Usama.

  6. Mr. Cain is not a career politician and thats exactly what we need. I hope people will listen to his ideas and not what the media has to say about him.

  9. The left is so predictable. Success such as Herman Cain has achieved is foreign to them.
To them success is someone like the late Ted Kennedy and the others who have done nothing more than suck off of the public coffers as a career. Anyone can do that~just look at the entitilement/welfare class. The only difference is being a career politician is more glamourous.

You're kidding right? The Kennedy's sucking on the public teat?

Based on Senate financial disclosure reports, Posner puts Kennedy's personal wealth in 2008 at $45 million to $150 million. No will has been publicly revealed, so how his fortune will be divided is unclear.

From what I understand about that family, they made their money moon shining. Of course now they have more legit businesses.

I heard it was once said of Joe Sr., "there will always be a Kennedy in that seat. (meaning the government) We bought and paid for it".

Nope not kidding. As a matter of fact any and all "public teats" they can manage to find and latch onto. I don't think Teddy ever refused his senate salary, did he? Or the health benefits? He was sucking big time!
