"The protesters are protesting against people who make $40-50,000 a year and are struggling to make ends meet. That's the bottom line," he said.
"And people in this day and age need support for their employers. If the banks don't go out and make loans we will not come out of our economic problems, we will not have jobs so anything we can do that's responsible to help the banks do that is what we need."
spoken like a true billionaire!
ReplyDeletebloomberg is an idiot. yes; he has billions but doesn't understand people.
ReplyDeletethe banks are NOT going to lend to anyone unless they are a good credit risk. duh... is that hard to understand? after all; it is the banks and the shareholders money and they are the ones that take the risk.
businesses are not going to expand, hire or take anymore "chances or risk" until the government and the epa get out of the way. again; it is their money and future that is at risk. duh... that's not so hard to understand.
the nutcases protesting don't even know why they are there. if you watched the "interviewer on the street" this past week-end you would have heard this. they are just there because someone told them to do it. some of them are being paid to do it. they can't even compose in their mind a coherent sentence. mush minds who follow evil, marxists, communists, socialists leaders who want to destroy our country as we know it.
No one takes these people seriously.

ReplyDeleteI really hope this is the same person. I don't want to believe there are TWO ill-informed people out there spouting nonsense.
Getting paid to be there?!
If that were true, if would be the bankers placing infiltrators in their midst to try and break it up.
These people, and the others in different cities, are showing the true american spirit.
They are standing up for injustice, abuse, greed and other things.
There is no 'one cause'. There are multiple concerns.
Instead of ridiculing them, you should be showing your support.
They are fighting for all of us. Even lazy, stupid no-nothings.
Just sayin.
Bloomberg is ultra-rich. What else do you think he would say? And the protesters are NOT protesting against the employees of the bank--- they are protesting the unmitigated GREED of these banks and Wall Street barons. Who beg for taxpayer bailouts to save them from the very greedy (and very bad) decisions they made that, in the "free market" and "capitalist" systems they want to "protect". praise, and nuture, would have brought their company to its knees. They want it BOTH ways. Get rich through bad decisions, but not pay the penalty for those same decisions. Instead they want the taxpayers (the same ones they gouge and manipulate) to SAVE them. The police BETTER be careful. There are a LOT of people watching and they are armed. Whose side are you gonna take? Because it could very well come to that. Know your history --- its the YOUTH of countries that bring about revolutionary change....and God knows, we NEED some changes....
