Waiting For The Results Of The Delmar Primary

As we wait for the result from the Delmar primary election we can tell you they had over 125 votes cast today. While that may not seen like a lot they only had 65 votes cast in the last election.

  11. No 6:54, from what I am told, voters were being told that they HAD to vote for two of the three choices. Looks like people voted for who they really wanted, and then cast a trash vote.

    I hope you are incorrect. If it happend as you state, then those folks on the election board were wrong. You do not have to vote for anybody. You only vote for who you want.

  13. I should re-phrase. They were not verbally being told that. The ballot said "vote for 2" for Mayor and "vote for 4" for Commissioner. I think many people assumed they had to vote for that number. I specifically asked and was told I could vote UP TO that number.If people didn't ask, they would not have known, they would have assumed.
