DOVER, Del. (AP) -- A new memorial dedicated to Delaware citizens still listed as prisoners of war or missing in action has been unveiled at Dover Air Force Base.
The memorial was revealed on Sunday at the 6th Annual Delaware POW/MIA Remembrance. The five-foot granite statue is located outside the Air Mobility Command Museum at the air force base and is crafted in the shape of Delaware. The memorial is dedicated to the dozens from the state still listed as POW or MIA from World War II until today.
