ReplyDeleteWBOC has already seen video of it, it has been confirmed.

ReplyDeleteI love the Salisbury News I always find out first here.
ReplyDeleteHow can we find out where on 94th? We have a property there and would like to get some more information!
ReplyDeleteThe only thing the Daily Slime is first with is Jim Ireton's whinings. Don't recall the boy vetoing much of anything when it was 3 to 2 all the time. Now that he's got friends aboard he's vetoing everything.
ReplyDeleteGotta love Smallsbury!
Good work on the tornado, Joe. Hope nobody's hurt.
Get this..WBOC Chopper 16 was down there and Captain Wiley said that he didn't see any sign of any tree damage. We happened to be in Ocean City right after it hit the area. It looked like a bomb blew up. There were car windows shattered, trees down on Coastal Highway. There are big signs blown and twisted around on themselves. The reason that Captain Wiley didn't see any trees was because the City Works Department did an outstanding job of containing the situation. We were there within 10 minutes after everything happened. They did an outstanding jobs responding very quickly to the situation. Great job OC. Crappy job WBOC as usual.
ReplyDeleteWBOC cant confirm its a tornado even though it looks like one!
ReplyDeleteI was on 75th street 5 1/2 stories up working on a porch overhang and watched it form then watched it as it came down the street between the buildings. I can comfirm it was a tornado. form the condo deck windows it looked like the insides of a blender filled with debris. The building I was in has a table from someones deck lodged in the side of it on the fourth floor. It was awsome to see that close but do not want to see it again.
ReplyDeleteyep, watching the 11 o'clcock news and they still cant confirm what this mystery storm was. lol they can guarantee a hurricane when there isn't one but we can't confirm a tornado where there IS one. i'm at a loss here.
ReplyDeleteIt's been a helluva year between an earthquake, a hurricane, and now two tornadoes.
ReplyDeleteThere was a water spout over that formed over the inlet too but they're not talking about that one.
ReplyDeleteIt never touched ground but man it was awesome to see that close!
OC Public Works employees are awesome! I've seen them spring into action after many storms. It's amazing how quickly and efficiently they do their jobs making the city look as though nothing happened in record time.
