PETA Begs Kate Middleton to Stop Prince William From Shooting Birds

According to multiple reports, William purchased 250 pheasants, ducks and partridges for a shoot at the Queen's Sandringham Estate to mark his younger brother Harry’s 27th birthday. But in a letter obtained by FOX411’s Pop Tarts column, PETA President Ingrid Newkirk has reached out and urged wife Kate to put a stop to it.

  3. Shooting them is almost as cruel as raising them in overcrowded houses and hanging them upside down as a blade cuts their head off in a processing plant so people can buy them nicely packaged in plastic wrap to avoid the notion that a bird was killed so they could enjoy some bbq chicken. LOL! I say start selling live or freshly killed birds and let people pluck, clean and cut them up like in the old days.
