The issue here is not merely Ron Paul, who has earned far more respectful coverage than he has ever received. It is the Pravda-like herd of insider media who believe some candidates (like Donald Trump and Rick Perry) should be treated with media festivals, while others (like Ron Paul) are treated like the Soviet dissidents who disappeared into the gulag during the Cold War, and were treated by the Soviets as though they did not exist.

ReplyDeleteCould it be that Dr. Paul's ideas are far enough away from the mainstream of the American voters, that they don't warrant serious consideration? Hmmm. Perhaps, yes!
How is being constitutional and for peace, love and Christian Values far away from the mainstream. Maybe it's because the mainstream is so violent, ignorant and corrupt now a days. RON PAUL 2012, END THE WARS, SPREAD THE LOVE!
ReplyDeleteMaybe Paul be would a LOT higher than the supposed "2%" if he got the attention (even HALF the attention) the OTHER candidates get. His positions are not so radical to most Americans, in my opinion. How long do the OTHER candidates want to continue to let young men and women die in Afghanistan? How many more countries do THEY want to invade? How many of the OTHER candidates think the Patriot Act is a constitutional abomination? Perry and Romney are being FORCED DOWN our throats by the MSM. They have imperiously tagged them as the "front runners" despite straw poll results like the one in California. Numbers don't lie, but they CAN be ignored. Want (and like) the staus quo of corporate and special interest ownership of our government? Vote for Perry ot Romney. Want someone who respects and honors our history and Constitution and is not, and won't be, beholden to bribe givers? Vote Paul. It comes down to THAT and IS that simple.
ReplyDeleteI guess Ron Paul won the CA straw poll with 2%? Its interesting how all the other candidates are echoing his platform. The same "crazy" platform that has been getting him elected in the house of representatives for decades.
