WASHINGTON - Fighting flash mob thefts: There's a plan for that.
Maryland lawmakers are considering legislation that would offer a get-tough approach to deal with what legislators say is a growing problem.
The bill would hold flash mob participants accountable for the total amount of merchandise stolen -- not just what he or she individually took.
"If someone as part of a flash mob took items that were worth $10 but the entire flash mob took items that were worth $1,000, each individual could be prosecuted based on the aggregate amount of $1,000," Maryland Delegate Jeffrey Waldstreicher, who sits on the House Judiciary Committee, explains.

ReplyDeleteand they are stealing , I will warn them that the doors will lock . Then I will aquaint them to my little friend , M-15 with 30 round mags. Then I will plant some non-traceable cheap pistols in some of their hands. Then I will get out a very large broom and clean my store.
