Man Drives Into Sinkhole

DAVIDSONVILLE, Md. - A 56 year-old man sustained serious injuries after he drove into a large sinkhole at Patuxent River Road and Queen Bridge Road in Davidsonville Monday morning.

Anne Arundel County Police were called to the area at 7:43am and found the man trapped in his car in a deep sinkhole. He suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Shock Trauma in Baltimore.

  2. This is a perfect example of complacency.I would bet that he has driven that same route for years,without a clue that something different could occur.All of us can learn a lesson from this.Bridges can collapse,sinkholes can occur.Expect the unexpected.

  4. Watch somehow he will sue the local town for not putting up signs and barriers and blame everybody else but himself for not paying attention.

    youre probably right. however, do you think the town should counter sue for this guy not calling in a road hazard in a satisfactory time? :)
