Joe,
I just bought a Sunday sun newspaper at Royal Farms as I do every Sunday for the crossword. It has always been 2.00 plus tax, today it's jumped to 3.00 plus tax. The amazing part of this is that on the front it says 2.00 but in parentethis it reads 3.00 out of area. I guess this means out of Baltimore area. It's the last one i will buy.
Someone approached me at the Tilghman RD Food Lion a couple weeks ago attempting to have me subscribe to The Sun. They offered some special deal but as with all newspapers, The Sun has lost his glow.
ReplyDeleteThey are no better than the gasoline fill up places because there are very few service stations anymore. When a holiday week-end comes they jacked up the prices once again. They care not about our country our, our welfare but only about numbers and profits. When all is said and done they make billions and no one cares or even asks why did it go up this time. Only because they can and they are very greedy people. Maybe some day we will have a government that will once again care about the people.
ReplyDeleteThey all want to stand up today and speak about we are in this together but but it is time they act like we are all together. This not much of a newspaper and I would never buy one of them again. It is time for all politicians to work together no madder of party, DO WHAT IS RIGHT FOR THIS COUNTRY.
