    not everyone is cut out for military service. can't judge a person because of that. it certainly doesn't make them a bad person.

    @Cathy

    No, not everyone is cut out to be in the military. However, if you're going to be Commander in Chief, I'd wager that someone with prior military service is more suited to the job than someone without that valuable experience. In fact, I'd like to see military service made a prerequisite for the presidency. That would rule out a lot of the pretenders.
