Imagining The Future Of Journalism

Just imagine if the victims at the World Trade Center or on the planes on 9/11 had been able to send video from their cell phones to YouTube, post statuses on Facebook, or tweet to their loved ones as the towers came down. What kind of horrific images and anguish from that day would be floating around the Internet? But none of those technologies or websites existed that sunny September day 10 years ago. That’s how fast technology is changing for those of us in journalism.

  1. Even the so called “Live” images that were broadcast on the network news were “Sanitized” to avoid shocking and upsetting the American people. The real photo’s showed living people screaming as they feel to their deaths, burning people being blasted out of the buildings, body parts slamming into the ground around rescuers, and then the President ordered the news to stop showing it so as to not incite Americans to go after Muslims! What a bunch of Bull Shit! I actually saw with my own eyes, the Muslim owners of Lido’s Pizza cheering the TV when this was happening! When I mentioned it to them how this was inaproiate they talked to each other in Arabic and then were quiet and one said he was sorry. Sorry they got caught doing the cheering! I believe that if “Live” feed was available the government would force it off the net. Especially now that we have a Muslim in the Whitehouse!

  2. I used to live in Michigan, and when 911 happened, our TV news showed us in Dearborn, Mich. Where over 1 million Muslims, they were dancing in the streets and celebrating! When the reporter asked what they were celebrating the one guy said” the beginning of the Jihad against the imperlisum of America”.
I say it again and again, America is no place for Muslims!

  3. The "live" film from the rescuers helment cams going into the towers shows or actually you can hear the bodies of people crashing into the roof of the atrim as they jumpped to their death rather than be burned to death. They are still finding bones, peices of clothing, wallets and other debris on roofs all over the area close to ground zero. Some of the survivors of those lost had only a peice or two to bury becouse their loved one was blown to smitherines. I just don't understand how we as a country can stand by and allow our nation be taken over by these terrorist. We even put one of their own in the Whitehouse!
