EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (CBS 2) – He says he can’t take it anymore.
A gay choir director at a Catholic church in New Jersey has quit his job because he says the priest is making his work environment hostile.
But does he have a case?
St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in East Rutherford is where Bob Russell has been the choir director for decades. On Thursday, however, the 55-year-old was taking boxes into the parish to pack up his belongings.
It's all about suing the church until they can no longer defend themselves against frivolous law suits.
ReplyDeleteChurchs have the right to preach as much hate and bigotry as they want.
ReplyDeleteFrankly, I don't know why he stayed as long as he did supporting a church so far away from the teachings of Christ.
drew, wtf are you talking about?
ReplyDeleteSpoken like a true ignoramus!
Not sure what Bible you ever read but mine says homosexuality is a sin. I for one am shocked that a priest actually stood up to it!
There is still hope for this messed up world!
Liberals suck.
ReplyDeleteThe Bible definitely calls homosexuality sin. It also says if a man lie with another man as with a woman they should both be stoned to death. That sounds pretty clear to me what God thinks of homosexuality.
