Congress has also worked on a stopgap bill
to fund the Federal Aviation Administration; its funding runs out in just a few days. The bill — which is expected to pass this week — includes some cuts. The measure will fund FAA through the end of 2011 and includes back pay for federal workers furloughed during a temporary shutdown in August.
