You are absolutely correct - you couldn't possibly build this structure for the price they are asking in today's market.
Just yesterday I had another gentlemen pull up while I was cutting grass and asked if I would be interested in an exchange of property - his for mine. He said he owed $109,000 and had recently reduced his asking price to $120,000
I informed the gentlemen that in this market he would be better off to try and wait it out as I didn't believe his property was worth what he owed on it. When I gave him specific examples of comparables that had recently changed hands at auction - he was shell shocked. My advice was for him to take a walk and let it go back to the bank.
8:48, Clairmont is in the nice Camden-College area.
But that's okay, you're almost right because all the slumlords, their council tools, clueless mayor and other Camden haters want what's left of that neighborhood to finish going down the tubes like all the others. I didn't live there, but my neighborhood got sold out too so I can relate.
I'm so glad I moved out of inner Salisbury. Tried to stay with it for years, but this city doesn't give a damn about protecting what it has. Just another blip on the map now.
sighhh...nice flier. But really, check it over before publishing. Not that difficult.
ReplyDeleteYou couldn't build this home for anywhere near $239,000!
ReplyDeleteWhat is a "Sort Sale"?
ReplyDeleteshort sale in today's market refers to when they are selling for less than they owe on the house, and requires 3rd part approval

ReplyDeleteDoes the chipmunk on the roof go with it?

He thanked me for my advice and departed.
Anon 2:30 pm, he was being sarcastic because of the poor grammar. Duh!
