Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack said Tuesday that the reason so many people are on food stamps is the administration has done a better job helping states get "the word out" about the decades-old program.
Though food stamps date back to 1939, Vilsack said in an interview that several large states, like California and Texas, had "underperformed" in connecting eligible Americans with the program. Times have changed, he claimed.

What a LAME attempt to "spin" the fact that, under obama's watch, more people are on food stamps then ever. He has been instructed to start justifying that statistic because they KNOW how bad that is for obama. He has no integrity and should be ashamed to be trying to tell us such crap. Next, the labor secretary will be telling us that unemployment is so high because people are in college, training for high-tech computer jobs.
ReplyDeleteWhy would you want to advertise that your administration was responsible for getting people ON welfare. How about they brag about their administration for creating JOBS. That WOULD be something to brag about, not how you got more people on welfare.
