Family and friends can pay their respects to long-time Ocean City Town Clerk Kathy Mathias tonight.
Mathias passed away on Monday afternoon after battling various forms of cancer for many, many years; she was 58-year-old.
A viewing for Mathias will be held today from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and then again from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Holy Savior Catholic Church on 17th Street in Ocean City.
A funeral service for Mathias will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Mathias is the wife of former Ocean City Mayor and current Maryland Senator Jim Mathias.
So very sad. RIP, dear lady, and sympathies to Jim and the family.
