Troopers Arrest Driver For His 6th DWI

Troopers arrest driver for his 6th driving while impaired offense

DATE & TIME: 8/19/2010 at 0215 hours C C. CARD NUMBER: 11-54-005875

LOCATION: Beaglin Park Drive and Gordy Road, Salisbury, Md

BRIEF RESUME:

On the above date and time, Troopers from the Salisbury Barrack stopped a 2004 Ford truck for traffic violations. The driver was identified as Robert Bozman. The Trooper observed open containers of alcoholic beverage in the truck and it appeared that Bozman was highly intoxicated. Bozman was subsequently arrested for driving while under the influence. A drivers license check on Bozman, revealed that he had 5 prior d.u.i/d.w.i. convictions the most recent being in February of 2011. Bozman’s drivers license was also revoked and suspended for the multiple d.u.i./d.w.i. convictions. Bozman was also required to have a ignition interlock device on his vehicle and there was none on the vehicle he was operating. Bozman was transported to the Wicomico County Central booking unit pending a hearing before a District Court Commissioner.

Arrested:
1. Robert Adrian Bozman age 42 of Salisbury Md.

The suspect was charged with: Driving while impaired by alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while revoked, driving while suspended, driving without a license, violating a alcohol restriction, operating a vehicle without ignition interlock enabled, negligent driving, consuming an alcoholic beverage while operating a motor vehicle and other minor traffic violations.

  2. And who does he need to injure or kill before this fool gets locked up. There is just NO justice. How about the law keeping tabs on this loser so he DOESN'T get behind a wheel again. Just ridiculous. Lock his a** up until he dries the he** out and gets help. I mean we all have problems but we choose our path to rectify it not get drunk and then drive so some INNOCENT child or adult can get injured or killed.

  3. how does a system let you get 6 of them. not to mention that if the system did what it should he would not have had the chance to get another one. He should have been locked up on a variety of other charges. He knows he's got nothing to lose so who cares. For us to allow him to have that attitude while being free to roam about is crazy. quit worrying about lowering the legal limits and start goin after this type of offender not the house wife that has a glass of wine with dinner.
