  2. Slipping into a new one? when was the other one over? and if you think it was over and this is the start of a new one, where is the evidence? Because last I check unemployment has been at 9% for 2 years...

  3. Our economy is based on the amount we add to the debt we owe the world every year. Recession Schmecession! In the grand scheme of things, does a year or two where things are a little worse really make a damn bit of difference?

  7. With the government focus on tax and spend, wealth redistribution, elimination of personal responsibility, and doing for the masses what the masses should do for themselves a total collapse of our economy is predictable. Now not only the larger, more sophisticated countries are predicting it, we even have third world countries laughing aloud at us. The sooner we can get rid of Obama, Biden, Pelosi, Frank, Reid, and the crew that supports them, the sooner we can begin the healing.

  11. we have slipped into a depression that's about to get worse. we have never slipped in or out. the government lies on a consistent basis.

take heed to the warnings that have been given on this site with articles and comments.

store up food; water; propane gas tanks for cooking; heirloom seed; medical supplies; bleach; peroxide; rubbing alcohol; guns and ammo (you may need to hunt for food), fishing gear and more.

research this for yourself. take care of yourself and your families. store enough; if you can; to share with your neighbors.

  12. I'm with the others who believe that we're still in a recession. I know that the government might have an official definition of "recession," but all the signs point to a continuing recession, possibly becoming a depression. One certain indicator is the stock market, which Joe has kept up abreast of. The unemployment rate is another sign. There seems to be a malaise spreading throughout the country. That in itself can bring about a recession. Yes, I believe that we're in deep trouble for a long time to cdome.

  13. This is not a recession. It is a serious depression and it started in 2007. I don't see it getting any better any time soon. As went the British Empire, so goes the U.S Economy! The British made the same mistake by sending manufacturing to third world countries. We never learn from history!!!!
Our government needs to stop lying to us and start owning up to the truth! The American dream is dead. Killed by globalism and the new world order!!!! Killed by greed and evil corporations!!!!!!!!!!!
