Salisbury Maryland Earthquake?

The courthouse is being evacuated right now. Our Downtown Office just shook like crazy. We'll keep you posted.

  1. I'm just across the street from the Courthouse and Our building shook. It was pretty scary since our building is over 100 years old.

  2. OMG! Was sitting at my desk and the whole office starting shaking! Called my Mom at our house in Princess Anne, she felt in there too!

  3. I live close to Hebron and it shook here. Also my husband works in DC and it shook there at a Federal building and all were evacuated.

  10. This was the real deal folks, I lived in Long Beach, California and went thru many of them, we should be getting aftershocks soon also.

  15. Shook our building here in Salisbury as well. Would be interested in knowing the scale on it. Talked to an old timer who has lived here his whole life and never experienced that before.

    Anyone know if they have done a tsunami warning for OC?

  21. I literally thought my house was going to collapse. (Live in Salisbury) It was almost like the second floor of my house was caving in.

  23. Talked to family and friends in Frederick, Woodbine, Highland and Dickerson and they all felt it. Phones cell and land lines were messed up for a while.

  24. At 1:48 pm my house shook,my chair was house shaking, my dog barking before that.I got up to check my above ground pool in the back yard and tidal waves splashing over the sides.Lasted about 15 secounds.
