The regime of Col. Moammar Gadhafi is over in Libya, President Barack Obama said Monday.
In a taped statement Monday afternoon from Martha's Vineyard, Mass., where he has been monitoring developments while on vacation, Obama acknowledged that fighting continued amid a "fluid and uncertain" atmosphere in Tripoli and other major parts of Libya.
But "the situation in Libya has reached a tipping point," he said, and the U.S. stands ready to help opposition leaders rebuild the country.
OMG Obama Dude WAKE UP and start taking care of your own Country!
ReplyDeleteHELLO we are in some serious need right here!
WTF we need to rebuild our own country please vote this idiot out in November 2012 if we survive until then, he is a fruitcake!!
ReplyDeleteHey listen, they aren't going to 'rebuild' anything. It is a ruse for a military black ops. The money will be embezzled by American corporate king pins . . .
ReplyDeleteHear that sucking sound? That's the sound of more of our blood and treasure being sucked out of our (well, it USED TO BE ours) country.
ReplyDeleteHow many billions of gallons of oil are they sitting on? How much of it are we gonna get? The answer to the second question, of course is, only what we pay dearly for.
ReplyDeleteAre we (Im sorry) Is he backing terrorists or a real government overthrow. We dont know where these people sit at the table and "we are going to back them up"? "We stand to help rebuild the country". Hey Obama we need to rebuild this one first. Giving everyone money all around the world and we are broke. When will this government wake up and realize we cant be the rebuilder of nations. Where are all of the rich oil nations at? Watching us spend our money and time in a part of the world where they all hate us. We need to stop policing the world and deal with our own issues (we have plenty of them). Screw the Middle East and get the Hell out now. Let them rebuild their own part of the world. More than likely half of the "revolution" are people from another country adding fuel to the fire. Let them burn. They let it happen to themselves let them deal with it while we sit out of it. Its about time we kept our nose in our own business.
ReplyDeletethere will be no transition
ReplyDeleteit took years of covert CIA infiltration to plant the seeds of rebellion
and now we are stuck again with some ill educated and angry populice much like our own ineffectual lazy masses
