President says attendees need to tell Washington 'it's time for the games to stop'
WASHINGTON — Hitting back against an emboldened GOP, President Barack Obama launched a rare direct attack Monday on the Republican presidential field, criticizing his potential 2012 rivals for their blanket opposition to any deficit-cutting compromise involving new taxes."That's just not common sense," Obama told the crowd at a town hall-style meeting in Cannon Falls, Minn., as he kicked off a three-day bus tour through Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois.
"You need to take a balanced approach," he insisted.
I really don't know who is listening to him on his little journey, but I believe most people are not.
ReplyDeleteActually alot of people are. And yes, when you thing 10:1 cuts to taxes is somehow a bad deal, you are officially an idiot idealogue.

ReplyDelete10:1 tax cuts means raise tax rates now, and never get the 10x cuts promised. It is a bad deal!
Oh, and by the way. Raising tax rates doen't mean increased revenues to the Government. In fact raising rates will reduce revenues in this economy.
Now he wants a balanced approach. Its election time. What a joke.
ReplyDeleteThat's priceless. So now the most inept President most of us have seen in our lifetimes is criticizing the GOP field? At this point it doesn't matter who runs on the Republican side. I would vote for him or her or even Snoopy before I would for Obama. Sorry, Snoopy!
