Jacqueline Kennedy-Onassis believed Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson was behind the assassination of her husband, according to tapes recorded by the former first lady just months after President John F. Kennedy's death, the Daily Mail reports.
The tapes, which are set to be released by ABC News, reportedly reveal that Kennedy-Onassis believed then-vice president Johnson, along with businessmen in the South, planned the Nov. 22, 1963, assassination of her husband in Dallas, Texas.
"The tabloid reports about the content of the tapes are totally erroneous," an ABC News spokesperson said in a statement to FoxNews.com. "ABC News isn't releasing any content from those tapes until mid-September at which point it will be clear how off base these reports are. The actual content of the tapes provide unique and important insight into our recent past from one of the most fascinating and influential First Ladies in American history."
Kennedy-Onassis thought gunman Lee Harvey Oswald -- long believed to be a lone assassin -- was part of a larger conspiracy involving Johnson, according to the Daily Mail.

ReplyDeletereally, go figure... I thought it was Marilyn Monroe
ReplyDeleteAnyone whom is a hunter knows it is better to have a shot that the target is comming towards you or across in front of you. This being the case, if you go to Dallas and visit the Book Dispository Museum, and then actually neal down and look out the window that Oswald used, then you would know that he could have made the shot a lot earlier in the parade route if he had wanted to, BUT, he waited so that he would be in line with the other shooters as the car passed him and was leaving going past the "Grassy Knowl" and by the fenced in area, to trianglate the shots from all three shooters!! This way no one would miss and the president would be dead!
ReplyDeleteYes, it was a coridinated effort, and a much bigger conspiracy then we will ever be allowed to know.
Why are the Kenady papers sealed till 2025!!, becouse by then all those involved will be dead, and won't be prosacuted.
I'll sign Anonymous, becouse the government will kill me for talking.
it was one of Marilyn's Lovers.
ReplyDeleteJohnson may have been in on it but that man didn't mastermind anything he was just a pawn in the position
ReplyDeleteThe powers that be were responsible because Kennedy would not do what they wanted him to do. So they killed him so Johnson would accelerate the war in Viet Nam. Which is exactly what he did.
ReplyDeleteIt is a well know fact that Johnson was elected to the senate with more votes than registered voters. He is a typical democrat crook. He lost in the primary bid to Kennedy and I'm sure he wanted to get even.
ReplyDeleteJohnson had an overbearing personality that caused the escalation of teh Viet Nam war. Hench the term the Johnson effect, where he was so overbearing in his staff meetings that his advisors were afraid to tell him the truth and instead only told him what they thought he wanted to hear.
There's an old saying: Q' What was Johnson doing when Kennedy was shot?
A' Holding his ears.
It is only too bad that this took 50 years to come out.
Let's hope someone looks into Barny Frank, and Chris Dodd and there involvement in the housing bubble collapse before they die of old age.
IMO, it's no accident...there are no more Kennedys. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that Ted was somehow involved...after all, he's the only one to die of "natural" causes...
ReplyDeleteAugust 8, 5:35 pm : You really signed anonymous because you did not want anyone to know you can't spell at all.
ReplyDeleteI was only 6 years old at the time, however I still remember my father saying from day one it was a conspiracy.
ReplyDeleteCoupe De Ta as Jim Garrison suggested.
The reasons behind the secracy was the fear of anarchy and the crumbling of the nation. The Viet Nam War was more profitable.
