RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Republicans leaned toward their most conservative candidates in key state Senate races during Tuesday's legislative primaries.
Among the GOP winners was former state Republican Party Chairman Jeff Frederick, a former Virginia House member who defeated Tito "The Builder" Munoz in the 36th Senate District. Frederick challenges Democratic Sen. Linda "Toddy" Puller in November.
