In today's On the News segment: Most Republicans haven't held town hall meetings during August recess; between 2002 and 2007, two-thirds of all new income in America went to top 1 percent of Americans; Irene caused heavy flooding as it swept through upstate New York and Vermont; two GOP Congressmen caught creating "watch lists" of constituents who've asked tough questions at town hall meetings; Arizona trying to dump Voting Rights Act of 1965 on 48th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King's "I have a dream" speech; and more.

ReplyDeleteNo it's not surprising because those who pad their pockets during this time will continue to do so because they are the "haves", mean while the "have nots" will have to again struggle and squeak by because of greed in our country. Wonder why our country was fine for the first 100 years and then as soon as we go liberal the country goes to the birds.....
