Avery Bechtel, 13, Struck Last Friday While Crossing The Easton Bypass Has Died


Avery Bechtel, 13, of St. Michaels pased away at about 10 a.m. Monday from injuries she received after being struck by a car Friday night on the Easton Bypass near Marlboro Road, according to a release from the Easton Police Department.
School officials have scheduled grief counseling from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Michaels High School. Avery was an honor student at St. Michaels Middle School, and she would have entered eighth grade next week.

    The ultimate pain, I wish I could give the family some of my strength. I dont have as much of it anymore to give. Im so sorry for the family.

    she was a very close friend we used to hang out all the time when she lived in easton i miss her so much
